Registration of candidates for participation in the admission competition is carried out online - independently or with the support of members of the admission committees - using the eAdmitere information system, through the eadmitere.gov.md web page. All users of the eAdmitere information system are authenticated using a digital/electronic/mobile signature or an identification card through the MPass system. Candidates who do not have an electronic signature will be registered by members of the Admission Committee of the State University of Moldova.

Main admission session will be held from 21.07.2025 to 12.08.2025 as follows:

a. Submission of the competition package of documents online at the link: https://eadmitere.gov.md/ from 21.07.2025 to 27.07.2025
b. Verification and confirmation of documents — from 28.07.2025 to 03.08.2025
c. Passing entrance examinations for sports programs — 29.07.2025 – 30.07.2025
d. Announcement of interim results — 05.08.2025
d. Submission of original documents — from 06.08.2025 to 10.08.2025
e. Announcement of final results — 12.08.2025

Additional admission session will be held from 13.08.2025 to 24.08.2025 as follows:

a. Submission of the competition package of documents online at the link: https://eadmitere.gov.md/ from 13.08.2025 to 15.08.2025
b. Verification and confirmation of documents — from 16.08.2025 to 18.08.2025
c. Passing entrance examinations for sports programs — 16.08.2025 – 17.08.2025
d. Announcement of interim results — 20.08.2025
d. Submission of original documents — from 21.08.2025 to 23.08.2025
e. Announcement of final results — 24.08.2025

Candidates have the right to participate in the competition for admission to cycle I - higher education licentiate and can choose, in order of priority, a maximum of 3 specialties/educational programs, but will be enrolled in only one program, regardless of the source of funding.
The candidate confirms his/her choice of specialty by submitting the original educational documents to the State University of Moldova.

The methodology for conducting the 2025 admission campaign for the LICENSEE (Cycle I) higher education programs at the State University of Moldova is available HERE.

To register online for the competition for admission of documents, the candidate must go through the following steps:

Stage 1: Candidate authentication (profile creation). Each candidate logs into the
eadmitere.gov.md web page and creates a personal profile. During the authentication process, the candidate enters the requested personal data, which will be used exclusively for the purposes of the admission campaign and in accordance with the legislation on personal data protection.

Step 2: Filling out the registration form .
Candidates fill out the registration form, selecting specialties/educational programs in order of personal priority. Supporting documents are uploaded if necessary.

Stage 3: Payment of the registration fee for participation in the competition .
The candidate pays the registration fee for participation in the competition online through the Mpay system - according to the tariff established by the State University of Moldova (USM). Young people left without parental care, as well as persons with severe and severe disabilities are exempt from payment. Confirmation of payment of the registration fee means participation in the competition and the transfer of the package of documents to the university for verification and validation. After payment, it is impossible to change the data in the personal file.

Stage 4: Verification and validation of the registration form .
The Admissions Committee of the State University of Moldova verifies and validates the documents indicated in the candidate’s registration form and requests additional supporting documents if necessary.

Stage 5: Conducting the competition and publishing the intermediate results.
Based on the competition of documents, candidates are ranked in descending order of the average competition score. The intermediate results are approved by the Admissions Committee of the State University of Moldova and published on the website www.usm.md .

Step 6: Submitting original documents .
If the candidate is on the list of admitted, he/she is required to personally submit the original documents to the Admissions Committee.

Stage 7: Publication of final results .
The final results are formed on the basis of the list of candidates who submitted original documents within the established deadline. Candidates who did not submit originals are excluded from the final list of admitted candidates.
The vacant places are taken by the following candidates, in descending order of the competition score.

Registration for the competition may also be carried out by another person on behalf of the candidate by power of attorney.

Holders of a high school diploma, a professional studies diploma, or an equivalent educational document recognized by the authorized structure for the recognition and equivalence of educational documents and qualifications can participate in the admission competition for undergraduate studies.

Mandatory components:

  • Original and copy of the identity card (passport);
  • Admission competition application form (Senate-approved model) Annex 1;
  • Educational document, with the respective annex (graduates from high schools in Romania and other countries, the promotion of the year of admission, submit the study certificate, with the grades obtained in the baccalaureate exams and the school situation for the years of study, the baccalaureate diploma to be presented later);
  • 4 photos 3x4 cm.

When submitting the application file, the candidate will attach the admission competition fee in the amount approved by the senate.

  • Admission fee for  candidates: 300 lei
  • Admission fee for international candidates: 2500 lei

The admission competition for holders of high school diplomas, professional studies diplomas, and higher education/bachelor's (master's) degrees will be conducted based on the following competition formula:
MC=0.5MEA+0.5MASMC = 0.5MEA + 0.5MASMC=0.5MEA+0.5MAS
where:

  • MC – competition average
  • MEA – average grade of graduation exams
  • MAS – average grade for the years of study

If the accepted educational document for participation in the competition does not contain information regarding the graduation exams, the average of the graduation exams (MEA) is replaced by the average grade for the years of study.

The competition average is calculated to the hundredths without rounding.

Foreign citizens can only apply for contract studies
