Master

The admission competition for Master's studies will be conducted in two stages — the main session and the supplementary session.

The main admission session will take place during the period:
July 21, 2025 – August 12, 2025, as follows:
a. Online submission of application documents: July 21, 2025 – July 27, 2025
b. Verification and validation of application files: July 28, 2025 – August 3, 2025
c. Announcement of preliminary results: August 5, 2025
d. Submission of original documents: August 6, 2025 – August 10, 2025
e. Announcement of final results: August 12, 2025

The supplementary session will be held during the period:
August 13, 2025 – August 24, 2025, as follows:
a. Online submission of application documents: August 13, 2025 – August 15, 2025
b. Verification and validation of application files: August 16, 2025 – August 18, 2025
c. Announcement of preliminary results: August 20, 2025
d. Submission of original documents: August 21, 2025 – August 23, 2025
e. Announcement of final results: August 24, 2025

Candidate registration for the admission competition is carried out exclusively online — individually or with the guidance of admission committee members — using the eAdmitere information system, available at: https://eadmitere.gov.md/, and requires a digital/electronic/mobile signature or ID card through the MPass system.

The Methodology for conducting the 2025 admission competition for Master's (Cycle II) higher education studies at the State University of Moldova can be accessed HERE.

Holders of a licentiate degree or an equivalent educational document recognized by a structure authorized to recognize and equalize educational documents and qualifications can participate in the competition for admission to the second cycle of higher education - master's degree.

Candidates who have a licentiate degree in another field of study may enroll in a master's degree program in the Faculty of Economic Sciences only after completing the minimum initial curriculum to bridge the gap in the program. To determine the difference in the program, applicants must contact the faculty dean's office (room 328, USM central building) or the admissions office with a licentiate's diploma, diploma supplement and a copy of the ID card.

The methodology for conducting the competition for admission to the master's program in 2024 (cycle II) at the State University of Moldova can be found HERE.

Mandatory components:

  • Original and copy of the identity card (passport);
  • Admission competition application form (Senate-approved model) Annex 1;
  • Educational document, with the respective annex (graduates from high schools in Romania and other countries, the promotion of the year of admission, submit the study certificate, with the grades obtained in the baccalaureate exams and the school situation for the years of study, the baccalaureate diploma to be presented later);
  • 4 photos 3x4 cm.

When submitting the application file, the candidate will attach the admission competition fee in the amount approved by the senate.

  • Admission fee for  candidates: 300 lei
  • Admission fee for international candidates: 2500 lei

The admission competition for holders of high school diplomas, professional studies diplomas, and higher education/bachelor's (master's) degrees will be conducted based on the following competition formula:
MC=0.5MEA+0.5MASMC = 0.5MEA + 0.5MASMC=0.5MEA+0.5MAS
where:

  • MC – competition average
  • MEA – average grade of graduation exams
  • MAS – average grade for the years of study

If the accepted educational document for participation in the competition does not contain information regarding the graduation exams, the average of the graduation exams (MEA) is replaced by the average grade for the years of study.

The competition average is calculated to the hundredths without rounding.

Foreign citizens can only apply for contract studies
