The Development Strategy of the Faculty of Economic Sciences for the Period 2022–2026 outlines the Faculty’s main directions of development and is based on the Development Strategy of Moldova State University for the same period. The implementation of the objectives and actions set out in the Strategy is aimed at further strengthening the role of Moldova State University as a classical university with a rich academic tradition, a strong sense of social responsibility, and the capacity to provide society not only with highly qualified professionals but also with research-based solutions to contemporary challenges.

The continuous transformation of the higher education environment, together with national and international regulatory requirements governing higher education, necessitates dynamic actions and an effective response to emerging challenges in order to maintain the Faculty of Economic Sciences among the leading academic institutions in its field.
