What do you need to succeed in your academic and professional journey?

On September 22–23, at Moldova State University, within the framework of the project “Supporting Ukrainian Refugees through Academic Collaboration between Universities in Moldova and the Czech Republic”, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (CzechAid, CZU), a two-day seminar was organized with guest speakers Olga Leuner and Petra Chaloupková from the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
The project aims to support the academic and social inclusion of Ukrainian refugees through collaboration between Moldovan and Czech universities. The seminar offered both a practical learning environment and an intercultural exchange platform, helping participants develop key competencies for integration and career growth.
The central theme “From Classroom to Career: Enhancing Collaboration through Effective Communication” connected theory and practice, ensuring continuity across the two days of activities.
Ukrainian students from various specialties, together with Business and Administration students (Years I, II, and III), took part in workshops on:
✅ Writing a strong CV
✅ Succeeding in job interviews
✅ Applying to universities abroad
✅ Professional e-mail correspondence
By blending academic insights with hands-on practice, the event boosted students’ professional skills and promoted their integration into the international academic community.
A big thank you to our speakers and partners for their inspiring discussions and knowledge sharing!
