РусскийThe center was created and equipped within the Erasmus+ Skills4Future project (Erasmus+ Project No. 101081787 “Developing and Improving STEAM Skills of Students and Teachers for Curricular Innovation and Sustainable Development of Higher Education Institutions and Local Enterprises – Skills4Future”, funded under the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2 “Capacity Building in Higher Education”, https://skills4future.utm.md/. The project runs from January 2023 to January 2026.
The center is an entity dedicated to education and training activities, promoting interest in STEAM fields, collaboration in innovation and research fields, as well as professional development for teachers, professionals, and students.
The general objective of the Center is to carry out activities relevant to the training-application-integration process, fundamental and applied scientific research in the fields of economics, business administration, public services, and environmental protection, with a special emphasis on the interdisciplinary STEAM approach to national and international issues and the development of partnerships with the business environment and other centers with similar activities, as well as supporting the development of professional training programs in the Center’s activity areas, providing methodological, scientific, and innovative consultancy to third parties.
The Center’s activities are aimed at establishing collaborative relationships with methodological, scientific, and innovation centers in the Republic of Moldova and abroad, to promote and carry out joint methodological, scientific, innovation, and technology transfer activities in the field of economics and business administration, and to address various theoretical and applied problems, namely:
I. Training-application-integration activities:
- organizing training sessions, specialization courses, or summer schools;
- internships;
- startup competitions/business plan/elevator pitch competitions, business angels, etc.
II. Research and innovation:
- conducting scientific studies in accordance with the mission and objectives of the Center;
- developing and implementing research and innovation projects;
- developing and publishing monographs, collections, teaching materials, etc., through which the Center contributes to the development of scientific research and innovation in the field of economics and business administration;
- training human resources in research and innovation – young teaching staff – to develop the skills necessary in the training-application-integration process and for scientific research and expertise in the field of economics and business administration, to promote sustainable development;
- providing specialized consultancy in the Center’s field of activity to public and private entities, non-governmental organizations, supporting teaching staff, students, master’s and doctoral students in the development of advanced research through round tables, meetings with the business environment.
III. Collaboration and promotion:
- identifying optimal solutions to develop collaborations locally, nationally, and internationally between the academic and socio-economic environments;
- organizing meetings (symposiums, conferences, round tables) on topics related to economic research and education with interested parties.
The Center includes university teaching staff, researchers, doctoral students, and students from master’s and bachelor’s programs in the general fields of study 041.Economics, for advanced training studies, representatives of other entities practicing training-application-integration and research-innovation activities, from the business environment with scientific interests in the fields of economics, business administration, and public services.
